The US Virgin Islands is one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean - how about their cuisine? With a true blue Jeep 4x4, Sashi heads to the gorgeous beaches of St. John. He learns about the sugar plantation ruins and the story of how African slaves were brought to the island, eventually spawning rum agrocol! Between the seafood smorgasbords in St. Croix, which is readily available, and phenomenal local eats like Pate - Sashi is in search of a new story - he comes across a distillery that is using an island staple, breadfruit, to end world hunger, and become the island vodka of choice for cocktails around the world. Finally, the Caribbean trip ends with a true carribean meal at Rum and Wine, where Sashi encounters how the locals feast on seafood!
