Tartalom
Some animals will never be inconspicuous, others blend so perfectly with their surroundings that they can move through them without detection. Camouflaged cats - for many of the cats of Africa, camouflage is key to survival. From the spots of the cheetah, the rosettes of the leopard and the stripes and dots of the serval, these cats have evolved to merge with their habitat. Hidden Lizards - Regal horned lizards vanish into Arizona's deserts, feeding mostly on ants. Cryptic Snakes - Australia's death adder and carpet python hide in plain sight. Cuttlefish - Change color, shape, and texture to disappear instantly. Chameleons - Over 100 species, masters of rainforest disguise. Ptarmigans - Snow-white birds of the frozen north. Crab Spiders - Tiny hunters, perfectly matched to bark, leaves, or flowers.
